Despite winds that were quite strong at times, The Manassas Railway Heritage Festival was a fun day for thousands of visitors in the old town section of Manassas, VA. PWMRC was one of several layouts in the pavilion in downtown Manassas, VA. Trains of all types were running and fun was on the wind.

Our Open House is the first Saturday of the month at the Quantico Train Depot in Quantico, VA...come & see our progress.

It's a busy place on the modules built by Brion Boyles. The Mississippi Central is on the mainline and headed to market with a load of wood while a steamer waits with it's passengers in the station at Peabrake.
Photo by Jim Connal We even had celebrity visitors...of the train kind. Kurt entertained fans of all ages with one of the locomotives from Thomas.

The latest in motive power from Electromotive is out for some test runs on the PWMRC layout. Lynn's wonderfully detailed city scene is the backdrop for today's run. Visitors are always impressed by Lynn's tall building and city scenes depicting a typical midwestern city.

Photo by Jim Connal Christopher is at the throttle of Atlantic Coast Line 1523 as it pounds across the trestle across the mill pond on Brion Boyles module.
Lew has a firm grip on the throttle as he guides the Reading over his module with a load of coal. On this busy day, the PWMRC tour bus was quite busy making trips to the satellite parking lots.
