Greenberg's Train Show
Chantilly, Virginia - Aug 15 & 16, 2003
|
| PWMRC was on the road again, at the Greenberg's Train Show in
Chantilly, Virginia. Our DCC crew has everything up and running smoothly in plenty
of time for practice running and ready to put on a show. This show saw the debut of
one new module and significant progress on others. We always welcome new members and
new modules. See you at the next show. |

The show saw the debut of our newest module...the Fredericksburg Station by Max &
Jane. Faithful to the prototype, the module shows good attention to detail and
careful work. Here a Norfolk Southern Triple Crown train powers through.
|
Manassas Yard is a busy place on Russ's module. The mainline is busy and two
consists are waiting to leave the yard. Notice Steve's handiwork in the background
with the individually installed flashing lights.

It was a big day for Steam on the PWMRC layout. The top photo is Walt's Norfolk
& Western, while the lower photo is Ernie's. |
 |
Everyone loves smooth running steam engines, especially with
sound.
|
John's module is a busy place with the crew busy working the car float.

|
The R. F. & P. is not forgotten in our club. Rob's loco pounds across the
bridge on Ed's module.
|
Steam is on the mainline as we pass Robin's military installation. Attention to
detail brings the viewer into the scene. The railgun is custom built, there's an
ammo storage bunker in the background and notice the working light in the scratch built
loading platform.

You can almost hear the sound of Ernie's coal drag rolling through the rock cut on Ed's
module.
