Spring has arrived and the Prince William County Model Railroad Club set out in May to Manassas for a weekend show at Central Library.  Good weather kept the crowds outdoors, but our club still had its share of visitors over the weekend.  Trains ran on Saturday and Sunday to the delight of library patrons.  Check out some of the action below.

Our 16 by 36 foot layout consumed most of the Community Room at Central Library.  That presented us with an opportunity to run longer trains!!!!
The D&J Junction provides some great views for railfans as trains climb and descend the 2 percent grade on Ken M.'s modules.

The NYC Pacemaker breezes past Ed M.'s modules.  Can you feel the breeze?
Long trains and sweeping curves make for great train watching.  Here the Pacemaker cruises over the hill at D&J Junction.

As always, we have our share of mishaps.  In this case a Pacemaker car decided to take a dip in a local creek.
A good fisherman is never distracted from the task at hand, as evidenced by this close up of our Pacemaker wreck.  I imagine the shade is a welcome relief from the heat from the midday sun!
