The Prince William County Model Railroad Club participated in this year's Freedom festival at the Freedom Museum at Manassas Airport on October 11th & 12th. Large enthusiastic crowds viewed our L-shaped layout with several highly detailed modules. Including the media day on Friday, we had three full days of running trains. While outside there were vintage aircraft, paratroopers, re-enactors and even the stealth fighter, inside we had a great time showing the appreciative crowd our digitally controlled layout. |

| Robin's military airport modules were a big attraction at the Festival. The one of a kind rail gun drew a lot of attention. | ||
Russ' Norfolk Southern rolls past the very detailed Glen-Cary Brick factory by Ernie. Many attendees noticed Ernie's brick factory and realized the site is only a couple of miles away. |

The Virginia Railway Express continues to grow and here we see it past the Fredericksburg Station on the module by Max & Jane. |

The Fredericksburg Station is a busy place every day. One of several daily Amtrak runs is pulling into the station. |

| Saturday was a busy day with soldiers jumping out of planes, the Marine Band and several flybys. Our layout was busy all day as visitors of all ages enjoyed model trains. | ||
While the Marine Band was waiting for their concert (which was terrific) one of the percussion artists stopped by to visit. He's a member of the Potomac Module Crew so we handed him a throttle and he showed his skills.

A couple of Manassas men in blue stopped by and found the accident scene on Russ' module to be very interesting.

State Senator Chuck Colgan seems to be enjoying himself as he runs a train on our layout. |

Chairman of the County Board of Supervisors Sean Connaughton and a couple of young train fans catch the action on our layout.
