7th Annual Boy Scout Train Show

April 2 & 3, 2005

Again this year, PWMRC was part of the large HO layout at the 7th Annual Boy Scout Train Show sponsored by Troop 964.  With more than 130 modules, the layout filled the gymnasium.  With more than 20 modules form the Boy Scouts, Piedmont Railroaders and the Potomac Module Crew, we enjoyed running trains on the huge layout.  Other parts of the show featured model trains in all scales:  N, Z, S, G, Lionel, and Lego ("L-scale").  Everyone had a great time.

With so much action, there are two days of photos.

During the show, more than 100 Scouts earned their Railroading merit badge.  This included building a freight car.  The featured event was the running of the "Scout Train" with the freight cars the Scouts had built during the day.
