Colorado & Maryland Railroad

Edwin Maldonado, Jr.
Owner

The Colorado & Maryland is an impressive display of mainline railroading with many detailed scenes along the route.  Ed's talents include impressive bridges, structures and trees...all of which are in evidence.  The three-track mainline has wide, sweeping curves that can handle the heavy load during the operating sessions.  Ed's fully operational Digitrax installation makes it a pleasure to run the trains and enjoy yourself as you tour the C & M.  Railfan fotogs are especially happy with the many and varied vistas that lend themselves to great pictures.  The visitor to the Colorado & Maryland leaves with happy memories and great pictures to remember the event.  Ed and his family live in central Maryland where a short trip down the stairs takes you into a model railroad world carefully crafted to be enjoyed by all.
Here are a few photos of the Colorado & Maryland Railroad
A long string of Pacemaker boxcars roll over the bridge and into the curve with the setting sun glinting off the 3 track mainline.
A wonderfully detailed barnyard scene is the backdrop for Ed's detailed Western Maryland steamer.
W & M 763 leaving the yard; behind is an example of Ed's rock walls.
Fresh from the wash rack, Western Maryland 763 awaits it's next assignment in the main yard of the C & M.
Ed's workmanship is so realistic, you feel that you can climb into the cab and really be in the action.
