Quantico Parade 2006With a fair amount of imagination, a bit of inspiration and a some nerve a few brave members of PWMRC decided to participate in the Quantico Christmas Parade on December 3, 2006. Using scraps of cardboard, paint, chewing gum and bailing wire...they joined the festivities and headed down Potomac Avenue to the cheers of the crowd. Everyone was able to enjoy the fun of playing with trains today. Our regular monthly Open House is the first Saturday of the month...come & see our progress. |

| With the help of volunteers, our train was led by the club banner as we turned onto Potomac Avenue. | |||
| Mere hours before this was nothing but a pile of materials that was magically transformed into a train for the day. | |||
| These guys look so calm waving to the crowd with a Marine armored unit right behind them. Our guys managed to stay ahead of the Marines. | |||
| Our parade train even picked up a hobo looking for a ride out of town. | |||
| Like every good looking train, there is a handsome caboose bringing up the rear. | |||
