We had a special Open House as part of the 2009 Quantico Christmas Parade. The Town was alive with a wide variety of groups in the parade, including the Prince William County Model Railroad Club.

Our regular monthly Open House at the Quantico Depot is the first Saturday of the month...come & see our home layout.

Several of our members thrilled the assembled crowd with our intricate train movements. Our complex train organization was flawless.

All of our parade cars are handmade and display our name proudly. We almost lost our gondola but he caught up to the rest of the train.

Seeing a caboose is a rare treat these days but we have plenty on our layout and in the parade as well. No train is really complete without a caboose. Photo by Jim Connal
Back at the layout the crowd welcomed the visit by the man himself...Santa Claus!

Our old R F & P switcher is workign hard on this day switching the local coal mine up the track from Cooper's Hollow.
