Our Open House on March 4, 2006 was a busy day at the Quantico Depot. Almost two dozen members entertained a good crowd of visitors with trains and the latest scenery on our layout. Our members continue to install the Digitrax DCC system for controlling the trains, scenery is being added all the time and more detailed buildings are being installed on the layout. We have an Open House the first Saturday of every month...it's free and everyone is welcome. |

Fresh from the paint shop we see the newest addition to the PWMRC lcomotive fleet...a fine-lookingGE C30-7 from our very good friends at Broadway Limited Imports (BLI). We have posed CSX # 7000 in front of the model of Quantico Depot by Bob and the Potomac River is in the background, as painted by Brion. Across the river is Maryland. Making it's public debut is Brion's new Mississippi Central caboose. Complete with a friendly waving Conductor, this caboose is ready to work. | ||
| Martin's Santa Fe RDC crosses Cooper's Holler on the bridge being constructed by Tim B. Tim's using wood and styrene in the bridge which fits right in with the rugged terrain around Cooper's Holler. | |||

Union Station at Evansport is a busy place during the Open House. Trains arrive and depart every few minutes. Gulf Mobile & Ohio # 807A is at the front of a passenger train just pulling in for a quick stop before departing for Dillinger. | ||

Lynn is putting the finishing touches on the Bridge at Powell's Creek. With background vegetation added, the water is the next step. Rob's Family Lines freight train is on the bridge, headed for Evansport and Armstrong. | ||
