July 5, 2008 was a typical summer day in the south...warm and humid. But at the historic Quantico Depot, the A/C was working well and we hosted a steady stream of visitors. Everyone had a great time having fun "playing with trains".

Our regular monthly Open House is the first Saturday of every month...come & see our progress.

Running smooth and looking good, Max is about to cross the bridge at Leesylvania.

We may be completely surrounded by a Marine Base, but the Army managed to slide in to delivery a critical load. Joel is climbing our of Cooper's Holler toward Dillinger.

It was a busy day in Division Yard with some local and long distance trains. The Mississippi Central was detailed and weathered by Brion Boyles. IN the background is the Virginia Railway Express stopping at the station at Division.

Many of our members helped out today...this is the group in mid-afternoon.
