Having recently signed a contract with the Virginia Railway Express to occupy part of the historic Quantico Depot the Prince William County Model Railroad Club hosted our first Open House in the Depot on July 9, 2005.  The Depot is in the Town of Quantico which is surrounded by the US Marine Corps Base at Quantico, Virginia.  The Depot has been recently refurbished and Re-Opened.  An enthusiastic crowd enjoyed our modular layout with a wide variety of trains running throughout the day.  We will be building a high-quality HO layout in the Depot...look at our layout plan...visit here often to watch our progress.

The Town of Peabrake is a very busy place every day.  Today we find a N & W fast freight rolling through town while a passenger train waits and the Nickel City Line commuter run is ready to begin their on time service.

Don's carnival is always a popular attraction for the attendees.  On the left is Max's N & W passenger train rolling by.  On the right, Tim's Rio Grande local freight is taking in the sights and sounds of the carnival.

Walt's Santa Fe steams by a busy carnival along the right-of-way on Don's module.  The level terrain allows the big steamer to run with the throttle wide open...check those drivers...we call this "Still Pictures in Motion"

There is fun for everyone in model railroading.  On the left is Quantico Mayor Mitchell Raftelis who stopped by to run some trains.  On the right, Carter and his dad Tim are having a great day with the trains.  Sometimes the best view is at track level.
